Fulton Bank, N.A. is seeking a remote Mortgage Loan Originator in the Hampton Roads or Central VA region. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with realtors, builders, accountants, and other referral sources to originate mortgage loans.

You will assess applicants, gather financial information, and tailor loan options to fit individual financial goals. This is a fully commissioned position offering extensive remote work opportunities with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential mortgage lending
• Ability to develop referral sources outside the organization
• Understanding of mortgage products and related risks

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands external referral sources to solicit first mortgages
• Interviews applicants and collects financial data to assess loan qualification
• Engages in customer-focused sales activity to generate business for Fulton Mortgage Company
• Ensures loan documentation and regulatory compliance throughout the origination process
