Job summary

Fulton Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer to build relationships with Realtors, builders and other referral sources across Atlantic, Camden and Burlington counties, NJ, with remote work options. The role emphasizes outside-office prospecting to originate first mortgages and grow the loan pipeline while meeting regulatory requirements.

You will interview applicants, collect financial data, assess credit and explain loan options, terms and risks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of residential mortgage lending experience in the local market.
• 1+ years of proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands referral sources outside Fulton Bank to solicit first mortgages and maintain origination volume.
• Collects and analyzes applicant's financial information to determine loan qualification and advises on options and risks.
• Performs work related to originated loans, maintains compliance, and communicates with all parties involved in the lending process.
