Job summary

Fulton Bank, N.A. is seeking a full-time, commissioned Mortgage Loan Officer to work remotely within the MD/DC/Northern VA market. You will cultivate relationships with Realtors, builders and other referral sources to originate mortgage loans tailored to clients’ financial goals, including home ownership.

In this role you will gather financial data, evaluate qualification criteria, present loan options, and manage the loan process from application to close while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 1+ years of residential mortgage lending experience in the local market.
• Proven ability to develop referral sources outside the organization.
• Experience with soliciting first mortgages through external relationships.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan options and associated regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands external referral sources to solicit first mortgages and maintain origination volume.
• Interviews applicants, analyzes financial information, and determines loan qualification.
• Engages in sales activities to encourage customers to use Fulton Mortgage Company.
• Manages loan paperwork, compliance checks, and communication with all parties through close.
