Fulton Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer - Outside Sales to join our team. This full-time, commission-based role can be remote within the MD/DC/Northern VA market.

You will cultivate relationships with realtors, builders, and other referral sources to originate first mortgages and guide applicants through the loan process. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of residential mortgage lending experience in the local market and a high school diploma, with proven ability to develop referral

Qualifications

• 1+ years residential mortgage lending experience in the local market.
• Experience developing referral sources from contacts outside the organization.
• Ability to assess financial information and recommend suitable loan products.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands referral sources outside Fulton Bank to solicit mortgages and maintain a pipeline.
• Collects and analyzes applicant financial information to determine loan qualification and suitability.
• Engages in sales activity to encourage customers to do business with Fulton Mortgage Company.
• Performs loan processing tasks and ensures compliance and proper documentation throughout the loan lifecycle.
