Job summary

Weave is seeking an Account Executive, Mid-Market to drive new business with pharma, biotech and CROs in the US. You will lead prospecting, outbound outreach, qualification, and pipeline management to promote our AI-powered regulatory content platform.

The role emphasizes relationship building with senior decision-makers, partnering with marketing for campaigns, and close collaboration with product on onboarding to ensure a smooth customer journey. Remote-based with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development or software sales within life sciences.
• Experience selling to startups/biotechs in drug development is preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory landscape and SaaS adoption in life sciences.
• Experience with contract negotiations and closing deals.
• Knowledge of FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and prospecting targeting pharma, biotech, CROs.
• Outbound outreach with marketing to engage prospects.
• Qualify prospects, map stakeholders and budgeting processes.
• Manage sale pipeline from engagement to close and draft contracts.
• Maintain product knowledge and collaborate on onboarding.
• Track activity in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Tableau).
• Represent Weave at industry events and speaking forums.
• Provide market insights and report progress to leadership.
