Job summary

Weave seeks a Sales Development Representative to join our commercial team in San Francisco. You will generate leads and new business opportunities within biotech, pharma, CRO, and consulting, helping clients adopt our AI-powered regulatory content generation platform.

You will collaborate with Account Executives, maintain knowledge of capabilities, and drive outbound campaigns via phone, email, and social. A 1+ year SaaS sales background and life sciences exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field
• 1+ years in SaaS or software sales (BD)
• Experience with SaaS or document management solutions
• Exposure to biotech/pharma/clinical research ideal

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: identify target clients in biotech, pharma, CRO, consulting.
• Outbound Outreach: run campaigns via phone, email, and social to generate interest.
• Qualification: conduct initial qualification calls through the evaluation stage.
• Strategic Collaboration: work with Account Executives to build pipeline.
• Product Knowledge: stay informed on capabilities, features, and roadmap.
• CRM Utilization: log interactions and pipeline in HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
• Event Participation: drive attendance for webinars, podcasts, user groups.
• Metrics & Reporting: hit or exceed outbound and meetings targets.
