The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience in metals/materials, strong CRM skills, and a safety-first mindset. Candidates must live within 30–40 miles of Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Determine key buying influences and establish relationships with customers.
• Develop a market plan for territory with quantifiable goals and action plans.
• Assist inside sales on special accounts or projects.
• Provide assistance to credit managers as required.
• Schedule and perform sales calls/visits.
• Estimate customer usage of products and participation of business units.
• Conduct training sessions on products and services for customers and employees.
• Communicate pricing deviations to management and report trends.
• Share customer product and quality requirements with inside sales and operations.
• Recommend additions/deletions to the product catalog and services.
• Initiate and monitor E-item inventory requirements.
• Provide recommendations regarding advertising.
• Maintain knowledge of company products and procedures.
• Maintain customer database updates.
• Review quotes daily and follow up.
• Review daily sales for customer thank you and order review.
