Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a purpose-driven sales leader with metals and non-ferrous alloys expertise to grow business and develop high-performing sales teams. You will coach, partner with customers, and accelerate success while directing the Outside Sales function to implement a regional sales/marketing plan that maximizes ROI and meets customer expectations.

This role may be located in Arizona or California and requires leadership of sales teams, strategic pricing, and coordination

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Computer literate.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience.
• Experience in TQM, ISO9000.
• Finance for non-financial managers, strategic selling and time management.
• Live or reside in AZ or CA.

Responsibilities

• Determine pounds sold in region and analyze customer buying motivators.
• Develop competitor profiles and SWOT analyses.
• Profile transaction-level pricing and adjust pricing to meet objectives.
• Develop regional marketing and territorial sales plans with personnel.
• Coordinate financial activities and monitor budgets and receivables.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and bi-weekly sales meetings.
