Job summary

ROCS Grad Staffing is seeking a curious and motivated Membership Development Associate to support a sales team through lead generation, research, and qualification. This role emphasizes research and relationship-building over high-volume cold calling, with opportunities to move into direct membership sales over time.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years in sales, marketing, or business development, plus experience with Salesforce and sales tools like Outreach and LinkedIn

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field.
• 1–2 years in sales, marketing, business development, or sales support preferred; recent grads considered.
• Experience using a CRM, particularly Salesforce, strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with sales automation or prospecting tools such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data across a sales pipeline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Research target manufacturing companies and identify executive-level decision-makers and potential membership prospects.
• Research and qualify or disqualify leads based on target-market criteria.
• Develop personalized outreach and nurture messaging for C-suite and senior executives.
• Support sales campaigns and collaborate with team to generate membership opportunities.
• Schedule introductory calls and meetings with qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate prospect, contact, lead, and pipeline information in the CRM.
• Monitor and update sales stages and follow-up activities for data accuracy.
• Review campaign performance using Outreach, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Develop understanding of membership offerings, target markets, and executive audiences.
• Support sales automation initiatives and improve prospecting processes.
• Provide general admin and sales support to help achieve membership and revenue goals.
