ROCS Grad Staffing in Reston, VA, is seeking a Business Development Associate to support the Account Management team and grow client partnerships. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people and wants a front-row seat to sales, recruiting, and client management.

You will pair with a top-performing Account Manager, learn prospecting, meetings, and CRM usage, and have opportunities to advance into an Account Manager role with increased responsibility and earning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university (recent grads encouraged).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing and confident in starting conversations with new people.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Manager to support client development.
• Book qualified meetings via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking.
• Research prospective companies and decision-makers using industry tools and platforms.
• Shadow client meetings to learn how we present our services, uncover hiring needs, and close new business.
• Represent ROCS at local events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Track activity, outreach, and meeting notes in our CRM (HubSpot).
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
