Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate’s Degree.
• One year experience as Membership Analyst I or in a Premera position with reconciliation experience.
• Health or insurance industry experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and document complex reconciliation discrepancies; process refunds and enrollments.
• Validate accounts receivable by detailed reconciliation of premiums and membership.
• Use Excel/Access and system reports to update eligibility and enrollment.
• Meet department metrics and follow policies/procedures.
• Educate members, brokers or groups on membership and billing processes.
