Premera Blue Cross is hiring a Membership Specialist II in the United States. You will perform complex reconciliation analysis and enrollment/billing tasks for individual or group accounts, using reconciliation databases and Excel/Access tools.

You will support internal and external customers with contractual guidelines and billing issues. You will work with health insurance accounts across time zones, handling enrollment changes, refunds, and premium transfers, while maintaining accurate notes

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of recent accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate’s Degree in accounting/finance/bookkeeping.
• One year prior experience as Membership Analyst I or in a Premera position with reconciliation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, resolve and document complex reconciliation discrepancies; process refunds and transfers; update enrollment as needed.
• Validate AR by detailed reconciliation of premiums and membership.
• Use Access or Excel to update eligibility, enrollment and reconciliation of accounts.
• Meet or exceed department metrics for production and quality; follow policies and procedures.
• Create written correspondence regarding billing and enrollment issues.
• Investigate and resolve complex account discrepancies and billing issues; generate customized bills as needed.
