Job summary

GTE Financial in Tampa, FL is seeking a Member Experience Advocate I to handle inbound calls and virtual teller sessions, resolve member inquiries, and deliver a one-point resolution with a friendly, helpful approach.

This full-time, remote-in-nature role requires operating within the Florida footprint, with training provided and opportunities to advance to Advocate II. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of customer service or banking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience in customer service, banking, or call center.
• Knowledge of BSA and related banking laws is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and virtual teller sessions.
• Resolve member inquiries about checking and savings accounts, and balance inquiries.
• Provide loan referrals based on member needs.
• Gather information, analyze facts, and provide a one-point resolution.
• Deliver a great member experience with a positive attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures, compliance, and product knowledge.
