Job summary

GTE Financial in Downtown Tampa is seeking a Member Experience Advocate I to deliver exceptional service to members across checking and savings inquiries, balance questions, and loan referrals. You will handle inbound calls and virtual teller sessions, and educate members on products with a one-point resolution.

This full-time role requires 1–3 years of customer service or banking experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years' customer service or call center experience.
• Banking knowledge and product familiarity preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls and virtual teller sessions.
• Resolve basic member inquiries about checking, maintaining balances.
• Reference quality loan referrals based on member needs.
• Gather information, analyze facts, and educate members for one-point resolution.
• Adhere to all Member Care and credit union procedures and policies.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in team/organizational initiatives.
