Job summary

GTE Financial is seeking a motivated Member Experience Advocate I in Downtown Tampa (remote role). You will handle inbound calls and virtual teller sessions, resolve inquiries about accounts, and provide loan referral guidance to boost member engagement.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in customer service, a high school diploma, basic MS Office skills, and comfort with online banking. This remote position requires a quiet workspace, reliable internet, and occasional on-site presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience or combination of education and experience. Previous customer service, banking, and/or call center experience required.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with basic banking operations and security protocols.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and virtual teller sessions with a focus on first-contact resolution.
• Resolve inquiries about checking/savings accounts, transactions, and balances.
• Identify loan referral opportunities to enhance member engagement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and policies and assist teammates as needed.
