Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 (TSS-2) to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues, including customer escalations and remote troubleshooting. The role expects strong knowledge of Medstation systems, ES 1.1x remediation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive timely problem resolution.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the ES 1.1x upgrade team, ensuring regulatory adherence, and maintaining ES 1.1x knowledge.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• :Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years) and ability to write queries to analyze data.
• :SSIS exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services.
• :Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• :Networking topology, terminology, commands; IIS and Web App Administration.
• :VMWare terminology and administration; Application installation and troubleshooting.
• :XML language understanding (1+ years); log review (2+ years).
• :Flexible in working hours; REMOTE work from home; in-office 4 days per week for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrades and remediation.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain ES 1.1x proficiency.
• Maintain data quality and use Salesforce for case notes.
• Provide progress updates to customers and customers’ education.
• Document issues clearly and escalate where needed.
