Job summary

CVP is seeking a Remote Medical Support Assistant to support the Cheyenne VA Health Care System for Veterans at the Northern Colorado VA Outpatient Clinic in Loveland, CO. This remote position requires residence within 50 miles of the clinic, with Monday–Friday, 700 AM–430 PM MST shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute (typing test) required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required.
• Must be able to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care between VA and community providers and schedule appointments.
• Process community care consults via HS RM and PPMS and other systems as needed.
• Maintain and update patient demographics and ensure data is entered into CPRS and VistA.
• Handle inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and provide timely information to Veterans.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and VA security requirements.
