The Remote ROI Specialist at MRO Corporation provides remote support to healthcare clients by processing ROI requests for patient records. The role operates fully remotely within Pacific Time business hours (8am–5pm) and requires secure handling of PHI.

Responsibilities include reviewing requests, accessing EHR data, responding to inquiries, and securely transmitting information. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, strong data-entry skills, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience in Release of Information in a physician's office or HIM is a plus.
• Proficiency using computer applications and web-based systems.
• 1+ year experience entering data into computer systems.
• Experience using the internet is required.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively and meeting production goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and dependability.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Mansioni

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and securely accessing pertinent patient data from client EHR systems and other approved electronic sources that match the patient request.
• Responds to phone calls, emails, and secure messages from requesters concerning various ROI issues.
• If necessary, responds to and processes requests from physician offices on a priority basis and transmits the requested information securely (e.g., secure electronic delivery or eFax).
• Logs medical record requests into Exchange Manager.
• Uploads and indexes electronic medical records into Exchange Manager.
• Complies with MRO and client facility policies and regulations, including HIPAA privacy and security requirements and MRO remote work and information security policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
