MRO is seeking a Remote ROI Specialist to provide secure, remote support for healthcare clients by processing Release of Information requests. The role operates from a fully remote setup and aligns with Pacific Time business hours (8am–5pm).

You will access patient data in EHR systems, review requester information, and ensure HIPAA-compliant processing of records. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, data-entry experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience entering data in computer systems and using the internet.
• Proficiency with computer applications and web-based systems.

Aufgaben

• Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines and access patient data in EHR systems.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and secure messages from requesters regarding ROI issues.
• Process requests from physician offices on a priority basis and transmit information securely (e.g., secure email or eFax).
• Log requests into Exchange Manager and upload/index records accordingly.
• Comply with MRO and client facility policies including HIPAA privacy and security requirements and remote work policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
