Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Extensive experience in medical coding and abstracting.
• Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS coding systems and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Consolidated Coding Unit operations and staff.
• Ensure accurate coding, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting.
• Coordinate with CPAC and HIM leadership to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Provide training on coding standards and encoder tools to staff.
• Develop production metrics and prepare workload reports.
