Job summary

MedWatch is seeking an Intake Coordinator for a remote role handling patient/member data intake via calls, emails, faxes or website. You will determine whether services require precertification based on contracts with employers/TPAs, following NCQA, URAC and state standards.

Strong data entry, communication and organizational skills are essential. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, excellent typing, basic computer skills, and experience in customer service or a call center.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming MedWatch calls, log cases, and provide status updates.
• Make outgoing calls for demos and case completion information.
• Send out CM reports and invoices, and process related letters.
• Receive and route faxes; manage 100–200 per day when needed.
• Verify demos and resolve case openings/changes in UR procedures.
• Set follow-up dates for HRAs and coordinate with nurses.
• Assist with mailings for UR, CM, and DM programs.
