MedWatch is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage patient demographics intake via calls, emails, faxes, and website. You will determine precertification needs per contract standards and NCQA/URAC/state guidelines, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing.

The role requires a High School Diploma and strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. It involves handling heavy call/activity loads in a typical office/home-office setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent data entry and typing skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with accuracy.
• Customer service principles and practices.

Responsabilités

• Handle all incoming MedWatch calls, start cases, log calls, provide case status and contacts.
• Make outgoing calls for information, demos, and case completion.
• Process incoming electronic Webcerts and send out reports/invoices.
• Distribute faxes and manage case openings from faxes.
• Follow up with DM patients and introduce nurse/programs.
• Check emails and CM inbox for case updates and UR procedures.
• Verify patient and provider demos; manage documentation as needed.
• Set follow-up dates and manage UR/CM/DM mailing.
