Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks an MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology to lead Therapeutic Apheresis and Cellular Therapeutics. This 100% remote role with EST alignment will guide clinical strategy, regulatory compliance, and program development across cellular therapies.

You will partner with executives, lead medical office activities, and liaise with biotech partners to advance donor programs, product specifications, and trials while ensuring FACT, CLIA,

Qualifications

MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology.
Experience leading cellular therapy programs and regulatory accreditation (FACT, AABB).
Knowledge of FDA regulations governing human cells, tissues, and cellular products.

Responsibilities

Lead medical office engagement for Therapeutic Apheresis and Cellular Therapeutics (TCS).
Provide medical oversight and serve as liaison for internal teams and biotech partners.
Oversee regulatory compliance, policy development, and program growth in cellular therapies.
Deliver continuing medical education to stakeholders and partners.
Travel as needed; remote leadership with EST-aligned teams.
