Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a Therapeutic and Cellular Solutions Medical Director to lead clinical programs in cellular therapies and transfusion medicine, working remotely with EST-aligned teams. You will guide medical strategy, drive regulatory excellence, and foster partnerships with hospital clients and biotech partners.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology.
• Preference for 5+ years in Cell Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation; negotiable.
• Proven experience with FACT accreditation processes and AABB Standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct medical strategy and operations for regulated cellular therapies (HPCs, CAR-T, Leukopaks).
• Lead medical office engagement and liaison for biotech partners; ensure donor eligibility and trial alignment.
• Provide medical oversight for regulatory compliance and program development; collaborate with leadership.
• Oversee CLIA laboratory directives and donor management within the regional center.
