Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Medical Coder specializing in Surgery and Anesthesia for a remote role. You will review medical records, assign codes using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines to support accurate reimbursement.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of medical coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC certification, experience with EHR systems, and a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience required.
• Experience with Professional Fee Coding.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures from medical records.
• Review documentation to accurately assign codes and determine diagnoses treated and procedures performed.
• Ensure codes follow Official Coding Guidelines and comply with federal and insurance regulations.
