Signature Performance is seeking a remote Medical Coder with expertise in Surgery/Anesthesia coding and E/M ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS. The role emphasizes accuracy, CMS compliance, and collaboration across multiple cases.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of medical coding experience, professional fee coding background, and AHIMA/AAPC certifications. This is a nationwide remote opportunity with comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience required.
• Experience with Professional Fee Coding.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• AHIMA or AAPC certifications are accepted (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC).

Responsibilities

• Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures from medical records.
• Review multiple records to accurately code diagnoses/procedures and determine DRG/APC.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliant documentation; query physicians as needed.
• Abstract data and enter into systems, correct data errors, and ensure CMS/client requirements.
