Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our dedicated team. You will oversee bill processes including charge entry, billing, claims, and payments while supporting both insurance and patient accounts.

This full-time role requires 1–2 years of medical billing experience and a CPC or equivalent certification is preferred. Applicants must reside in one of the permitted states and be able to work PST hours with strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC or equivalent certification.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims before billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits or rejections.
• Post patient payments and insurance payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Follow policies and assist teammates as needed.
