Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to join our team. You will oversee bill processes including charge entry, billing, claims, patient AR and insurance AR, posting payments and resolving credits.

The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST, with state residency requirements. Requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of medical billing experience; CPC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC certification or equivalent preferred.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify claim information is correct prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy before billing.
• Process primary, secondary and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and insurance/third-party payments.
• Handle credit resolutions and insurance AR and patient AR.
