Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1–2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC or other equivalent certification.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.

Aufgaben

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and insurance payments.
• Manage credits and AR for insured and self-pay.
• Credit resolution for both Insurance and Self-pay credits.
• Handle Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt and assist teammates as directed.
• Answer phones and provide customer service.
