Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to support our Revenue Cycle team. The role oversees bill processes including charge entry, billing, claims, and accounts receivable for patients and insurers.

You will post payments, resolve credits, and support accurate revenue management from a home office. Applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI and have 1–2 years of medical billing experience with CPC or another certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPC or other equivalent certification required or preferred.
• Orthopedic Coding experience is a plus.
• Experience with Nextgen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims before billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process all primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits or rejections.
• Post all patient payments.
• Post all Insurance and third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt.
• Answer phones.
• Follow policies outlined during onboarding and in Teammate Handbook.
