Job summary

Proliance Surgeons, Inc. seeks a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to join our Revenue Cycle team.

You will oversee bill processes including Charge entry, Billing, Claims, Patient AR and Insurance AR, post payments, and handle credit resolutions while supporting other revenue cycle functions. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST, and offers benefits including health coverage, 401k with match, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC or equivalent certification preferred.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• Experience with Nextgen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims before billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process Primary/Secondary/Tertiary claims and address edits.
• Post patient payments.
• Post Insurance and third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt as needed.
• Answer phones and assist teammates as directed.
• Follow all policies outlined during onboarding and in handbook.
