Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to join our team. You will oversee bill processes including charge entry, billing, claims, and Patient/Insurance AR while working remotely.

The position requires 1–2 years of medical billing experience, a High School diploma or GED, and CPC certification. Prior orthopedic coding or Nextgen/Amkai Billing experience are strong pluses.

Qualifications

• CPC or other certification required.
• Orthopedic Coding experience a plus.
• Experience with Nextgen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify claim information before billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient and insurance payments; resolve credits.
• Handle bad debt and AR responsibilities; answer phones.
