Job summary

Proliance Surgeons seeks a remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to support the billing process from home. You will verify claims, review surgical coding, and process multiple claim types while posting payments and resolving credits. The role requires strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance.

Applicants must reside in one of the allowed states and be available full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST. Prior medical billing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC or other equivalent certification.
• Orthopedic Coding experience a plus.
• Experience with Nextgen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review Surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process all primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post all patient payments and insurance/third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt and answer phones.
• Follow policies from onboarding and team handbook.
