Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to join the Revenue Cycle team. You will oversee bill processes including charge entry, billing, claims,Patient AR and Insurance AR, and you will post payments and handle credit resolutions.

The role is fully remote with standard hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm Pacific Time; applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI. Strong medical billing knowledge and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of medical billing experience.
• CPC or equivalent certification.
• Orthopedic coding experience is a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review Surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post all patient payments.
• Post all Insurance and third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Handle Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt and answer phones.
• Follow all policies and onboard guidelines.
