Job summary

Essity’s Health and Medical team is seeking an experienced Medical Advisor to support the Western Region sales team with compression solutions, providing medical knowledge, training, and guidance to ensure market development and successful product adoption. The role is remote, covering Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Omaha, and parts of Iowa, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with compression garments and fitting preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience or medical sales preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM systems or customer contact database applications.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent people skills.
• Strong work ethic and time/territory management skills.
• Must live in the assigned territory and have a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on measuring and fitting JOBST compression garments.
• Support clinicians and therapists in garment fitting and troubleshooting.
• Host events and present to industry and clinical professionals.
• Develop strategies to maximize territory and company objectives using sales and marketing data.
• Increase sales by implementing sales plans and marketing programs.
• Develop training programs for disease treatment therapies for customers.
• Conduct in-services, seminars, and product training for key customers.
• Attend industry trade shows and regional events.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the territory.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to grow Essity business.
• Provide up-to-date forecasting and sales funnel activity to Regional Sales Manager.
• Maintain CRM records of all territory activity.
• Submit reports and administrative tasks on time.
