Qualifications

  • Act as liaison and communicate effectively with clinicians, patients and DME providers.
  • Travel throughout the established region, balancing time in clinics with clinicians and patients to support market growth.
  • Produce a monthly report on clinic activity related to the specific account list.
  • Maintain and coordinate a fitting schedule at key clinics to manage patient visits.

Job description

Overview

Compression Specialist required to assist Territory Business Managers and Clinical Educators in providing comprehensive care including measuring, fitting, and educating patients and clinicians on compression solutions. This role focuses on establishing new opportunities by building referrals within hospital settings, developing relationships with clinicians to differentiate product offering and drive orders, and coordinating with medi’s local and national DME providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, measure and fit patients for ready-to-wear and custom compression garments.
  • Utilize medi vision as well as traditional measuring methods.
  • Provide demos and patient setup for medi’s compression pump offering.
  • Educate patients and clinicians on use and maintenance of medi’s compression solutions.
  • Act as liaison and communicate effectively with clinicians, patients and DME providers.
  • Communicate with clinicians to retrieve missing or required documentation for compression garments or pumps.
  • Travel throughout the established region, balancing time in clinics with clinicians and patients to support market growth.
  • Produce a monthly report on clinic activity related to the specific account list.
  • Maintain and coordinate a fitting schedule at key clinics to manage patient visits.
Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of face-to-face patient/customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate customers and sales personnel.
