Job summary

Blackthorn is seeking a Marketing Operations Engineer to own and optimize the marketing tech stack, drive integrations across marketing, sales, and revops, and improve campaign execution with AI-powered automation. You will build dashboards, ensure data quality, and lead campaigns with a technical mindset.

The role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, technology, and analytics, requiring hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Qualified, and Apollo.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marketing operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualified, Apollo, and similar tools.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and automation workflows.
• Experience managing websites, landing pages, forms, and CMS platforms.
• Ability to build dashboards, analyze marketing performance, and manage campaign attribution.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across marketing, sales, and revenue operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage our marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), Qualified, Apollo, aspects of the website, and any other app that touches Marketing.
• Maintain and optimize integrations between marketing, sales, and revenue operations systems.
• Build and improve marketing automation workflows, lead routing, segmentation, and nurture campaigns.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, and forms using AI-powered and no-code tools.
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, lead generation, funnel metrics, and marketing ROI.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality across marketing platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across marketing systems.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and revops teams to improve lead management and conversion rates.
