Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health, to lead the North American dairy, beef, and forage technical service team. You will guide experts, set strategic priorities, and partner across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation to deliver measurable customer value.

This high-impact role blends people leadership with scientific rigor to drive growth, product launches, field trials, and industry engagement across probiotic, enzyme, and feed additive

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• 5+ years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Establish clear priorities, objectives, and development plans aligned with business goals.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
