Job summary

Novonesis in the United States is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team. You will translate science into value for dairy, beef, and forage customers and collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation.

The role combines strategic leadership, talent development, and direct customer engagement, with responsibility for trials, field validation, and scientific communications to drive growth

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
