Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American Technical Service team, directing scientific support across probiotics, enzymes, feed additives, and silage solutions. You will collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation groups to translate science into customer value and business growth.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer focus and relationship building.
• Scientific rigor and analytical thinking.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing technical research programs and field trials.
• Strong background in trial design, execution, and statistical analysis.
• Established industry network among nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and producers.
• Passion for advancing animal health, nutrition, and sustainability through science-based innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
