Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development for a remote, home-based role. You will lead a team of multimedia developers, oversee graphics, animation, audio, and video work, and align outcomes with instructional goals and accessibility requirements.

Reporting to the Director of Curriculum Development, you will collaborate with curriculum, product management, and external partners to deliver high-quality multimedia experiences on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; education or curriculum background preferred.
• 3–5 years in multimedia, graphics, or animation development.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results.
• Detail-oriented with editing and proofreading experience.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems and LMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multimedia developers and support career growth.
• Coordinate with curriculum development, product management, and Agile team members.
• Prioritize features, validate MVP, and align with partner needs.
• Direct internal and vendor teams to Pearson standards and requirements.
• Plan resources and timelines for successful project execution.
• Design visually engaging interactive products.
• Leverage tools and instructional strategies to inform design decisions.
• Guide change initiatives across the organization and partner schools.
