Job summary

Pearson is hiring a Manager of Multimedia Development for a remote role that supports K-12 learners. You will lead a team of audio, visual, graphics, and animation developers, ensuring high-quality multimedia aligned with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

Reporting to Curriculum Development and collaborating with product teams and external partners, you will drive design, development, and review of multimedia assets while meeting deadlines and managing resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience with assets to support asynchronous virtual learning.
• Proven ability to lead a team, create a supportive work climate, and deliver results as a team.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines while producing highly accurate, detail-oriented work; editing/proofreading/verification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, learning management systems, and/or content management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and ability to learn other software quickly.

• Coordinate with curriculum development, product management, and external partners to align multimedia work with goals.
• Direct internal and vendor teams to meet Pearson’s standards and project timelines.
• Plan resources and people to ensure successful project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products and understand tool capabilities to inform design choices.
• Apply advanced analytical thinking to solve complex content problems and support strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and scalable production in multimedia workflows.
