Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a team of audio, visual, graphics, and animation developers supporting K-12 learning experiences. The role focuses on managing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of multimedia assets that align with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

The Manager collaborates with curriculum, product management, and external partners to deliver high-quality multimedia experiences on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred.
• 3–5 years in multimedia, graphics, or animation development, with assets for asynchronous virtual learning preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results.
• Detail-oriented with editing/proofreading experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, LMS, and/or CMSs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multimedia developers and foster career growth.
• Communicate with curriculum development and product teams.
• Refine and prioritize curriculum development features and MVP feedback.
• Direct internal and vendor teams to meet Pearson standards.
• Plan, organize, and align resources for project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products and instructional solutions.
• Understand tools and capabilities to inform design decisions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NSQ standards and curriculum.
