Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a team of audio, visual, graphics and animation developers creating engaging graphics, animations, audio, video and multimedia for K-12 learners in a remote, home-based role.

You will report to the Director of Curriculum Development, guide project timelines, ensure accessibility and quality, and collaborate with curriculum, product and external partners to deliver high-impact multimedia experiences aligned with instructional goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or related area preferred.
3-5 years multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience preferred, with assets to support asynchronous virtual learning.
Proven ability to lead a team, foster inclusive culture and deliver results.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of multimedia developers; enable career growth and professional development for direct reports.
Communicate effectively with curriculum development management, product development and cross-functional teams.
Refine curriculum development features; validate MVP feedback and identify strategic partner needs.
Direct internal and vendor multimedia development teams to meet Pearson’s standards.
Plan and align resources to ensure successful project execution.
Design visually appealing interactive products and understand tool capabilities.
