Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development for a home-based role. You will lead a team of audio, visual, graphics, and animation developers to create multimedia and interactive learning experiences for K-12 learners.

You will collaborate with curriculum development, product management, and external partners to ensure multimedia solutions align with instructional goals, accessibility, and project timelines, while exploring AI-enabled improvements and scalable production approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum, or related field.
• 3–5 years multimedia/graphics/animation development experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with education management systems and LMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of multimedia professionals.
• Coordinate with curriculum, product, and partners.
• Prioritize features and validate concepts and MVP feedback.
• Oversee internal and vendor teams to Pearson standards.
• Plan resources to ensure project delivery.
• Design visually engaging interactive products.
• Assess tools capabilities to inform instructional design.
• Apply knowledge of state and national curriculum and NSQ standards.
• Provide expertise to stakeholders and influence senior leaders.
• Identify AI, automation, and scalable production opportunities.
