Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a team delivering multimedia assets for K-12 digital learning. You will oversee design, animation, audio, and video production, aligning with instructional goals and accessibility standards.

Remote work is available, with partnership collaboration across curriculum, product management, and external vendors. You will influence strategic decisions, guide timelines, and coach internal and external teams to meet aggressive schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; education/curriculum focus preferred.
• 3–5 years in multimedia/graphics/animation development with assets for asynchronous learning.
• Proven team leadership and ability to deliver results as a team.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading experience beneficial.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems or related platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Azure DevOps; ability to learn new tools quickly.

• Lead a team of multimedia developers and foster professional growth.
• Communicate with curriculum development management and cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize features; validate concepts and MVP feedback; define partner needs.
• Direct internal and vendor teams to create and implement Pearson standards.
• Plan and align resources for successful project execution.
• Design visually appealing interactive products and inform design solutions.
• Understand tools capabilities and apply instructional strategies accordingly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state and national NSQ standards.
• Provide expertise to stakeholders and support strategic decisions.
