Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Management Liability Practice Leader to develop and execute a best-in-class value proposition for Directors & Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom coverages.

You will serve as IOA’s national subject matter expert, partnering with Producers, Account Managers and leadership to deliver innovative coverage solutions and risk management strategies.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of Management Liability experience as an underwriter, broker, producer, or combination thereof.
• Deep expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and related executive risk coverages.
• Active Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance technology platforms.
• Exceptional personal character.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of IOA’s Management Liability practice strategy and market presence.
• Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, and product offerings for client needs.
• Provide expert guidance on D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and related coverages.
• Deliver coverage recommendations through market navigation, policy analysis, and RFP support.
• Design and implement risk management strategies to differentiate IOA.
• Develop benchmarking tools and analytics with IOA's Data team.
• Oversee Management Liability content across digital and print platforms.
• Collaborate with Producers on business development and complex client engagements.
• Participate in select client meetings to provide strategic guidance on exposures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support service excellence and growth.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and market innovations affecting programs.
• Identify and implement best practices and operational improvements.
• Maintain high-level knowledge of management liability products and market trends.
• Continuously strengthen industry expertise and IOA values in all interactions.
