Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Management Liability Practice Leader to drive the development and execution of a best-in-class value proposition for Directors & Officers, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom coverages.

The role serves as IOA’s national subject matter expert, partnering with Producers and leadership to deliver innovative coverage solutions and risk management strategies that support client success and growth.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of Management Liability experience as an underwriter, broker, producer, or combination thereof.
• Deep expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and related executive risk coverages.
• Active Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance technology platforms.
• Exceptional personal character.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of IOA’s Management Liability practice strategy.
• Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, industry trends, and product offerings to identify optimal solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on management liability coverages.
• Deliver coverage recommendations through market navigation, policy analysis, form comparison, RFP support, and proposal development.
• Design and implement service and risk management strategies that enhance client outcomes.
• Develop benchmarking tools and analytics with IOA’s Data team.
• Oversee Management Liability content and educational resources across multiple channels.
• Partner with Producers on business development opportunities.
• Participate in select client meetings offering strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with Producers, Account Teams, carrier partners, and internal departments.
• Stay aware of regulatory developments and market conditions affecting programs.
• Identify best practices and operational improvements for scalability.
• Maintain high level of knowledge and guidance on market trends and coverage strategies.
• Strengthen industry expertise and stay current on products and risks.
• Champion IOA values through professional conduct.
