Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS on the z/OS platform. The role involves handling CSOs, troubleshooting complex CICS issues, and supporting 24/7 operations across time zones.

The candidate should have 5+ years on the zSeries with hands-on CICS TS experience, knowledge of SMP/E, and strong communication skills. This is a remote-friendly, full-time position with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on the zSeries mainframe platform with hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS problems.
• Support 24x7x365 operations across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM software products according to Ensono standards.
• Assist migrations and DR planning with customers and migration teams.
