Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior CICS Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium software support and services to our mainframe clients. The role focuses on CICS TS and related OEM products on the z/OS platform, with remote work options across the United States.

You will handle CSOs, 24/7 support, installations, migrations, and disaster recovery tasks, collaborating with teams and following Ensono standards. A strong background in zSeries and IBM SMP/E is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years on the zSeries mainframe, with hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS and related OEM installation and tailoring.
• Strong experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow best practices for installing OEM products.
• Prepare partitions for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Assist migration of new customers to address technical hurdles.
• Execute disaster recovery tasks with DR Services.
• Adhere to schedules and ITSM change controls.
• Implement fixes and upgrades to z/OS products.
